Bathroom Joinery & Plumbing...

Today we finished off the low level cupboard and internal shelving next to the shower plus coated all the bare timber with oil. Connected the shower waste to the sump and tomorrow we shall test for leaks before fixing everything in its final position.

Continuing with bathroom joinery...

This weekend we continued fitting the shelving and framing out of the bathroom walls. It should start looking better next weekend after we've oiled the bare timber and finished all the trims.

Bathroom floor tiles....

Bathroom floor tiles, only needed seven 600x600mm from Topps tiles, sealer and polisher from Toolstation half the price of TT.

Shower area....

Started forming the shower area, side cupboard and shelving, Black marble wetwall panels will be fixed inside the shower enclosure with oak trim to finish off all edges.

Calorifier Pipework....

The calorifier is in place and we've started conecting the pipework, the black pipes run to the engine and should give us free hot water when it's running. The white pipe is the domestic hot water and the grey insulated pipe is the cold water feed. All thats left to connect is the pipework from the Webasto heater.

Crick 2012...

This was our last visit to Crick, it wasn’t a patch on previous years and unless you were in the market for buying clothing or food it was pretty much a wasted journey.

We did enjoy our walk down the towpath seeing all the boats moored up, and the few exhibitor’s boats we viewed, but the reason we went was to buy bits for our boat and the lack of boaty stalls was disappointing.

We arrived at ten and had seen everything at least twice before leaving at two, that included lunch and a nap in the car before setting off.
