Lastest update

We both called in to see the boat after work today for the first time. Looks good, its been lifted onto the water and the portholes and water tank have been fitted, ballast is due to go in tomorrow with the engine getting fitted next week, still got the front doors to do but coming along, just can't wait to get working on it now.

A bit longer to wait

We contacted Chris today for an update on how things are doing, after our chat it seems unlikely we'll be getting the shell this month. The engine is due to be fitted next week followed by the ballast so we reckon its going to be at least October before we can start work.

Shell has arrived at the yard

YEA! we've noticed while walking Charlie this morning our shell has arrived, when we got back to the car we had a messege on the phone telling us as much. Looks good, hopfully we can get down to see it next week.

Shell Progress

Phoned the boat yard today to find out if things are going to plan and that no problems have arisen, they say the shell is in the process of being built right now, and that he is hoping to call down to see its  next week, with delivery planned for two weeks time, we can’t wait to see her.

He's ordered the double glazed portholes we wanted! we did asked for a price first but he claims the cost isn't a much difference from single glazing. We shall see!
